Return Time: Approximately 2:45p.m.
For children completing Kindergarten through 6th Grade.
Venture off for a visit and art workshop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Children enjoy a gallery tour, & then get creative as they take part in an actual "hands-on" art lesson with a teacher from the museum. The theme for this day is "World of Art" which ties in with our summer theme about diversity and children of the world. Lunch is included in cost. Participants will picnic in the museum azalea garden (weather permitting) or the pavilion at the adjoining Water Works overlooking the Schuylkill River.
Summer Theatre Trips

This summer we will offer two theatre trips for children to the Keswick Theatre, and DeSales University Theatre. Performances, dates and times are not yet available. You will find information and registration forms regarding these trips in your Parent Packet. If you would like your child to attend these trips, please register and send payment when you receive the forms.
Note: there is an additional charge for your child to
attend each theatre performance.

Don't miss Summer Youth Day at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manheim, Pa! Along the streets of this colorful 35-acre fantasy, children will experience a fun-filled visit to a living and working 16th Century village in "Merrie Olde England" as they encounter the colorful characters celebrating a festival day in honor of Queen Elizabeth I. Marvel at dozens of live shows featuring jugglers, jesters, magicians, sword-swallowers & puppets. Cheer for a favorite knight in the jousting tournament. Witness ancient craft demonstrations. Sing a faire song for the Queen learned in the music workshop, and much more. A box lunch will be included.
