7/21/2008: Bus Stop Change Request Forms Due by Friday, August 1st

REMINDER: Bus Stop Change Request Forms are due by Friday, August 1st in order to ensure that your request will be effective on the first day of school.

If your child needs busing on a DAILY basis to or from any address other than their own home address, such as day care, please download, complete and return the Bus Stop Change Request Form (PDF) to your school office for forwarding to Transportation Services Inc., our contracted bus company.

Only daily change requests require this form. Occasional or periodic change requests do not require this form. A parental note to the school office will be required to allow your student to ride on a different bus or get off at a different, existing stop.

We will attempt to accommodate your student's transportation needs, consistent with SASD policy. Your patience is appreciated during this very hectic period in the transportation planning calendar. Routes are planned and postcards are issued in August. September includes the start of the new school year and, typically, many adjustments to get things operating smoothly.
