5/18/2007: National Honor Society Inducts 52 new members at Souderton Area High School

The Souderton Area High School National Honor Society inducted 52 new members at their May 14th ceremony. The new members include: Jordan Bideau, Heather Bishop, Korey Bishop, William Butcher, Caitlin Conroy, Sarah Conroy, Rachel Coyle, Melanie DeCarlo, Joshua Ditty, Rebekah Doll, Emily Farrell, Timothy Ferrin, John Giannini, Lucy Godshall, Jessica Gotwals, Erica Grzywacz, Leah Harrell, Zachariah Hauck, Shannon Held, Joseph Hilling, Sarah Jacobs, Caitlin Johnson, Chelsea Johnson, Shelby Kay-Fantozzi, Ryan Kern, Elizabeth Kilmer, Sarita Kundrod, Frank Maiorana, Ryan Mansley, Alexandra McNally, Mary Kate Mulligan, Andrew Nagy, Justin Nice, Josephine Ntem, Mary O'Hara, Lauren Peachey, Rachel Peddie, Julia Penkal, Megan Pietruszka, Jacob Radcliff, Joseph Reynolds, Kelsey Rowe, Monica Schmidt, Angela Severn, Bethany Shellenberger, Amanda Shisler, William Siegfried, Logan Sutherland, Samantha Terrell, and Jenna Tomasevich.

The National Honor Society provides students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and learn the importance of volunteerism by performing service to the school and community. Membership is open to all students in grades 10 to 12. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.85, currently perform community service, participate in a minimum of two school activities, and submit a written essay.
